Havelock Town Branch Royal Institute main school is situated at No. 191, Havelock Road, Colombo 05 and provides education from Grade 3 up to A/Levels (Cambridge) and up to O/Levels in the Local Curriculum. Currently the school has over 1200 students. It is a registered centre for Cambridge examinations in Sri Lanka. Nugegoda Branch Royal Institute International School Nugegoda branch was established in 1993 with a student population of 45 and today it has grown into a student population of 1900 students both girls and boys following the Cambridge Syllabus from the Nursery to advanced level classes. In 2002 we introduced the National Curriculum in English Medium classes to our students and today we are proud to say that we have classes up to year 9. With around 150 highly experienced and qualified staff members our school has achieved many goals in the field of sports as well as studies. Maharagama Branch Royal Institute branch school situated at No. 11, Hospital Road, Maharagama teaches from the Nursery up to GCE A/Level examinations in two streams, one based on the British curriculum for Cambridge examinations and the other on the Local Curriculum in the English Medium. Under Registration No E&QA-AL01, the Ministry of Education has granted permission to Royal Institute to present its candidates for Local A/Level examinations. Currently the school has a student strength of over 800. Maya Avenue Branch Royal Institute established its latest school branch at No. 163, Maya Avenue, Colombo 06 on 15th September 2008 as Royal Institute International Girls School in order to accommodate the aspirations of a large number of parents who wished to educate their daughters in a school meant exclusively for girls. Gampaha Branch Royal Institute International School situated at Hansagiri Junction, Yakkala Road, Gamapaha is the latest branch School of Royal Institute group of schools which commenced operations in September 2013. The school teaches from the Lower Nursery class upto G.C.E Advanced Level examinations in two streams – one based on the National curriculum (English Medium) and the other on the Cambridge curriculum. The Ministry of Education has granted permission to present candidates for the Sri Lankan A/Level examination conducted by the Department of Examinations which is a unique achievement by any International School. --
