For decades, UoM has been producing graduates who have made a name in the area of Networking. To further cement its leadership role in networking, UoM - Center for IT Services (CITeS) has partnered with the global vendors and training partners to enhance technical skills of UoM students as well as to fulfil corporate training requirements . In 1990s, University of Moratuwa has established Center for IT Services (CITeS) to fulfil the University computer maintenance requirements and in 2017 CITeS established Training & Development Division according to the Council approved new organizational structure. Currently, the Training and Development Division is delivering their own training programs as well as Cisco Networking Academy and AWS Academy training programs.
