I am graduate teacher who has experience to teach grade three to seven , local, Cambridge and Edexcel Mathematics. I have participated in many trainings conducted by Cambridge examination department and have over five years experience in preparing students for primary check point examinations. I am teaching at a leading International School in Gampaha. ● Evaluating, identifying and taking remedial actions for pupils with learning difficulties. ● Familiarity in teaching Cambridge curriculum and preparing students for Primary Check Point exams of UK. ● Excellence in classroom management through creative teaching strategies. ● Desire and commitment to life-long learning on innovative methods of teaching, technological aspects relating to education and management of student behaviour. ● Development of innovative, creative and efficient lesson plans according to students’ abilities and needs. ● Familiarity and ability in teaching multilingual students. ● Building and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders. ● Competent in teaching mathematics and science to primary students. ● Planning, organising and managing extra-curricular activities along with colleagues. ● Identifying any misconceptions students may have on the subject matters and teaching the correct concepts using easy-to understand terms. ● Offering feedback reports and making progress reports through frequent assessment. ● High computer literacy and fluent on online teaching platforms.
