Organisation of the school The school is organized in to three main sections: 1.Nursery Section(Lower & Upper Nursery) 2.Primary Section(Grade 1-5) 3.Senior School(Grade 6-13) In addition, the “English Section” is dedicated to conducting classes and study programmes for Ordinary Level and Advanced Level examinations. Buddhist Ladies’ College is one of the premier Privates schools in Colombo, for the girls from the Montessori to primary school to A/L class in both local and London Syllabus. BLC founded by late Mr. Mohandas De Mel and late Mrs. Bernice De Mel on 20th May 1954.
