The institute is managed by a 8- member Governing Council approved by the NAITA with the concurrence of the Hon. Minister of Vocational and Technical Training comprising the Chairman of the NAITA as its Chairman and representatives from among the members of the NAITA, and representatives from the private sector involved in Automobile Engineering.
