For children aged 4 to 10 years A creative working environment with emphasis on observational skill development. Understanding the psyche of the child, making every little one a confident and happy individual. Making little hands achieve beauty and artistic values with no stress and total fun For children aged 11 to 18 years This class is for any young person who may have hidden talent, who’s doing so much and stressed out, who wants to develop a hobby that can give hours of pleasure as a stress releaser. We do craft projects and experiments that help the learning process. Edexcel London O/L and A/L Students can go through this centre and sit privately for any assessment based subject including Art and Design. Students sitting art and design are trained to perform so that their grades will get them scholarships and exemptions from the foundation year to any Arts college. Local O/L and A/L All 3 papers for these exams are coached for with very special care taken as to what the student wants to do at the university level. History of art is taught in Sinhala and English as may be the choice of student. The teaching method adapted with very young ones who may start at the age of 4 years are given the freedom to express and indulge in the handling of material which helps with their motor skills and develops cognitive abilities as a result. The type of work done ranges from play dough and finger painting to clay work and pottery, acrylics and oil painting to wire and metal sculpture. Needle craft and painting on fabric as well as tie dye and batik are also some of the mediums handled here at Art School.
