Private Pilot License (Aeroplane) The Private Pilot License (Aeroplane) is the must have license for all those who aspire to fly as professional pilots and leisure flyers alike. Openskies PPL is designed to fulfill ground theory and flight training requirements of both Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL) and International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and therefor the PPL(A) would be internationally recognised and can be easily converted to any national license. Commercial Pilot License (Aeroplane) with Instrument Rating For the applicants pursuing a career in aviation, may it be a charter pilot, executive business jet or airline pilot. The Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating provides you with the knowledge and skills require to taken on any role in the aviation sector. Airline Transport Pilot License (Theory) Our flagship Airline Transport Pilot License (Ground Theory) program is a CAASL approved ground theory program developed in accordance with EASA ATPL syllabus. Full time ATPL Ground theory program is run in a classroom based environment delivered by CAASL approved senior Ground Instructors. Multi Engine Rating (MER) Obtaining your first Multi Engine Rating can be a exhilarating experience, switching from flying single engine aircrafts to twin engine aircraft bring a new perspective to flying. Most airlines require cadet pilots to hold a Multi Engine aircraft rating which later during their carrier allows them to obtain Type ratings for larger aircraft and also allows the holder to obtain Multi Engine Instrument Rating (MEIR) with additional training. Flight Instructor Rating (FIR) Flight Instructor Rating (FIR) enables the holder to deliver flight instructions to students towards Private pilot and Commercial Pilot license with Instrument Rating.
