Term 4 : Joint Operations, Management and Military Technology. Course Structure Administrative Studies. Air Warfare. Arms and Services. Combat Service Support (CSS). Command, Command Support and Decision Making. Doctrine, Operation and War Fighting. General and Logistic Staff Duties. ICRC Workshop and IHL. Intelligence Staff Duties. International Affairs. Joint Operations. Logistic Staff Duties (LSD). Management Studies. Maritime Warfare. Military Assistance to the Civil Authority (MACA). Military Technology. Nuclear, Biological and Chemical (NBC) Warfare. Operations of War. OOTW and COIN. Research Methodology. Security. Sri Lanka Studies. Strategic Studies. Training for Operations. UN Peace Support Operations. The Defence Services Command and Staff College is the most prestigious and the highest seat of military education in Sri Lanka. The Defence Services Command and Staff College sets out to train officers in basic command and staff techniques, but just as important, it aims at helping them to develop the intellectual attributes to cope with their future appointments and the challenges that are inevitable in the years ahead. By this process, we seek to develop their breadth of understanding and the ability to analyse and evaluate issues in a logical way.
